Pave Engagement Rings are becoming very popular in the last couple of years. Pave means a type of setting, which is made of small gemstones, mostly diamonds, set closely together. There is metal, what we call prongs, between the gemstones. The reason behind its popularity is that those small diamonds in the pave setting gives huge sparkle to the center diamond and the ring.
Pave Engagement Rings come in platinum, white gold and yellow gold. I prefer the white metal, because white metal will always give more sparkle to the ring. Yellow gold will make the stones yellow and women don’t like to have a ring, which looks yellow.
Pave settings should be checked periodically, because stones are smaller and they can be loose time to time. They also need to be cleaned periodically, because they can get dirty pretty quick.
